To purchase new uniforms, outdoor equipment for recess (specifically a new cross-net, volleyballs, snow toys for winter, new nets for the basketball net to replace the chain link ones) and sensory room equipment as the school is currently revamping the special education spaces.

St Mary/ St Cecilia provides the foundations for every career path for learners.  The school works hard to give back to the south dundas community through charity initiatives and volunteering that stays local.

St Mary/ St Cecilia relies on donations and programs like the 100 Women who care because the Ministry of Education does not provide funding for all of the "extras" that support education - such as creating spaces to promote enriching learning like sensory rooms or outdoor play.  School budgets are extremely limited and they cover only basic necessities for learning.  The staff is very keen to provide experiences for students that are experiential learning or that support diverse learners but they need the resources to be able to follow through and make sure everyone has the equal opportunity to learn.
